ABOUT US

Mesa Vista Veterinary Hospital was established in the Spring of 1971 as a mobile mixed veterinary practice by Truman Smith, DVM.

After doing equine work at the race track for twenty years, we have a special interest in equine medicine and lameness. After standing both Thoroughbred and quarter horse stallions for about 35 years, we provide a special experience in equine reproduction and cooled and frozen semen breeding. Our practice has slowly evolved and is now 60% small animal with complete medical and surgical capabilities.

The main thing that sets Mesa Vista Veterinary Hospital apart from others is the friendly compassionate caring attitude of the veterinary and staff and the availability of emergency services.
